Love is beautifully flawed
Have you ever missed someone so much, wanted to see them more than anything, that you dare not think about them? There’s no logic to the feeling of love. It makes us so irrational that we lose sense of ourselves. We set aside any ego, pride, or self in order to become part of someone else. In this shedding process we feel emotions more intensely than we ever have before
This also includes all our negative emotions. Fear, anxiety, doubt… all the things that may have lurked in the back of your mind before but now they mean something. Before you can truly be vulnerable you have to feel safe. This is where so many people run away. Look at ourselves… one of the loneliest generations because so many of us rather believe love doesn’t exist than face those fears. We run, and run, and run until we run out of breath and we’re surrounded by nothing. Every good feeling left so far behind you have to squint in order to see it
In this limbo, so many of us will sit and wait. Hoping that those good feelings will catch up to us. What we fail to realize is we don’t have to wait. Let the world in, fall into someones arms, enjoy the their presence. Don’t be discouraged by the noise. The reward of finding love in the middle of all the bullsh*t is so great… love is flawed, it can be painful or soothing. It can hard and easy. It can be hypocritical and so straightforward

Is Runway Setting More Important than the Designs?
This is more of an open question than a long opinion piece…
The increase in time and effort put into runways is good (for the most part)! Designers get to create the world that their clothes should exist in, which is super cool. The thing is, the currency of the fashion world is, and will always be, 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.
Quality design language alone rarely grabs the headlines anymore. It seems like a lot of brands feel the need to create a “moment” that will be shared widely on social media, but can you blame them?
What do you think? Are you always exhausted by social media too? Cool me too.
