On my way back this night, inside a keke

We were already 3 seated remaining just one person for the keke to fill up..

A man flagged the keke down to enter but they were two of them..

The keke man was like it’s just one person remaining
And the man shifted to wait for another

Meanwhile, I was to alight at the next junction

As the keke man wanted to drive off, I told him to ask them if they can manage the other side since I am dropping off at the next junction

The keke man asked and they entered, that’s how he got extra passengers which is more money

And it got me thinking

DONT ASSUME ANYTHING, SIMPLY ASK

Most often than not, we tend to shut our mouth and not ask but rather assume and make excuses..

Earlier this year in January, I work remotely as a Business Developer for a company

In one of our strategy and brainstorming sessions, I mentioned the need for a business developer whose duty would be to go out and be on the field to implement some strategies…

The next plan were steps to recruit one..

The next week strategy session, he mentioned that on sunday, one of the unit members met him and told him that she is a business developer and looking for a job

He then told her to draft a proposal as to what she can do and etc for the business..

His need to recruit met
Her Need for a job, met..

Now, imagine if she didn’t ASK
She wouldn’t have gotten

Remember the Bible said, Ask of me and I will give the ….. and also Ask and you shall receive……

Don’t assume, open your mouth wide, craft it smartly and ASK

What could possibly happen if you ask?

It’s either a No or you receive A YES 🙌

You might be saying, what if it’s a No

Think of the possibility of it, being a yes…

Go to that business owner and pitch your services

Send that Message to that person

Ask that person for that collaboration

Simply Ask
You might get a YES

(Remember to craft your Ask well)
