I think Polkadot ($DOT) is in trouble. It did the heavy lifting of pushing into the space's consciousness the idea of a base Layer 0 facilitating multi-chain interoperability between the Layer 1's (parachains) that deploy on it. But much has changed since Polkadot began building from scratch its privacy focused project with parachain auctions that costs millions.
In particular, into the mix steps Metal's innovative Layer 0 - with a verified DeID focus that meshes with the developing regulatory overlay & on which other chains can run for a fraction of the cost. And don’t forget - Proton, which is Metal's A-chain for payments, has been dubbed "Ethereum on Steriods XPRience" [https://twitter.com/MarshallHa....yner/status/15415192 ]
As I see things, it appears that Metal is a Polkadot killer (and watch out Avalanche) with a built-in Ethereum assassin.

The Mt Gox creditor restitution process might not rock the market as some expect. But I'd still pay attention to its developments. Thankfully we got Marshall ℙ Hayner to keep us in the loop 🙂

On first review, this seems really interesting. Hard to get more tangible than an NFT project taking on the risk associated with financing affordable housing and, subsequently, earning a limited, but real, return from the development project. I have also followed World Mobile since its launch and thought highly enough of it to invest a small amount in its ICO, and think their approach to low-cost internet accessibility is sound.
That said real-estate development & housing construction is an industry fraught with delays and failures. How patient will NFT holders be? Will empowa be able to get the proverbial snowball rolling and successfully finance, construct and manage a meaningful portfolio of affordable housing developments for the amount of time needed for the buyers to pay off their purchasing financing?
Any one have any other perspective or thoughts?
